Dayanand Public School unveils new campus, maintains 100 per cent pass rate for 17 consecutive years

Jamshedpur: Dayanand Public School has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by achieving a 100 percent pass rate for the 17th consecutive year. To celebrate this milestone and introduce its newly developed campus, a press conference was organized at the school. The event was attended by key members of the management, including Chairman of Shiksha Samiti Gian Taneja, Vice-Chairman Rajeev Talwar, Principal Swarna Mishra, and Vice-Principal Archana Rehal.

The school management highlighted its long-standing tradition of providing quality education and announced new initiatives aimed at preparing students for global challenges. With a strong focus on academic growth, the school has introduced special preparatory classes for IIT-JEE aspirants, ensuring students receive the guidance needed to excel in competitive exams.

The newly inaugurated campus features modern infrastructure, including digitized classrooms, advanced laboratories, and expanded learning spaces. The school now has three auditoriums for hosting seminars, conferences, and co-curricular activities, with a multipurpose hall accommodating 325 students, a larger auditorium for 250 students, and a smaller hall for group activities. A 500-seat amphitheater, two libraries housing over 5000 books, and a digital library equipped with an LCD screen and 600 subscriptions have been added to enhance students’ academic resources.

Technology integration has been a major focus, with two computer labs designed for junior and senior students, equipped with 90 computers in total. The school has also established ATL Labs alongside modernized Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories to encourage hands-on scientific learning. A new single ERP software has been implemented for efficient academic management, while all classrooms now feature intelligent and interactive smart boards to facilitate modern teaching techniques.

Beyond academics, the school has prioritized extracurricular and sports activities. The new campus includes dedicated basketball and volleyball courts, indoor game facilities, and a fully equipped canteen for students and teachers. Security measures have been strengthened with the installation of 135 CCTV cameras across the premises, ensuring continuous monitoring and adherence to safety protocols.

Addressing the press conference, Chairman Gian Taneja emphasized the significance of the school’s consistent 100 percent pass record, attributing it to the dedication of teachers, students, and parents. He highlighted that the newly developed campus and upgraded facilities would further enhance the learning experience, equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in a competitive world. Principal Swarna Mishra reaffirmed the school’s commitment to holistic education, ensuring students develop both academically and personally to contribute positively to society.
