Chaibasa, June 24: Suraj Mal Jain DAV Public school, Chaibasa announced its election result for the posts of head boy and head girl.
The principal Rekha Kumari declared the names. Mohit Kumar was elected for the post of head boy defeating his nearest rival Vishal podder by 278 votes whereas for the post of head girl kumari Ashtha Bala won by the margin of 119 defeating her rival Disha.
The principal added that everyone was important for the election and that the contestants had set a precedent by handling the elections.
She further added that democracy is India�s beauty and healthy election is its foundation. The principal expressed gratitude to the students and teachers for conducting peaceful election.
