Noamundi: The DAV public school today commemorated the martyrs of the Kargil war organizing a special prayer.
The principal, staff members and students offered floral tribute to the portrait of Martyrs.
The song �Ae mere vatan ke logo zara ankh me bhar lo pani�� sung by music teacher Rashmi Bhattacharya recreated a sense of patriotism inside the audience.
While addressing the students, principal T.K.Mishra said that,�we are deeply indebted to martyrs like Lt.Sourabh Kaliya, Captain Bikram Batra, Captain Hanifuddin and Lt.Manoj Pandey as they made a supreme sacrifice during war.
The students and teachers together pledged that they all will be ever ready to sacrifice themselves for our nation.
A large number of teachers and Students were present at the event. A question-answer session was also organized based on moral education.
