Jamshedpur, May 13: Aditya Kumar Sahu, a student of DAV Public School, Bistupur, has emerged as the district topper in the CBSE 12th board exams, scoring an impressive 97.4 percent. In an interview, Aditya credited his success to hard work and self-study.
Aditya excelled in various subjects, obtaining exceptional marks, including 96 in English, 98 in Accounts, 98 in Economics, 98 in Business Studies, and 97 in Applied Mathematics. He shared that he completed his education up to the 10th grade at Dayanand Public School, where he achieved a remarkable score of 98.4 percent.
Expressing his aspirations, Aditya revealed his desire to pursue further studies at IIM Indore with the aim of becoming a successful businessman through the study of management. He emphasized his belief that while a job may bring personal progress, business endeavors have the potential to create employment opportunities and uplift many others.
Beyond academics, Aditya enjoys sports such as basketball, volleyball, and karate. He attributed his success to consistent effort, maintaining a daily study routine of 4 to 5 hours.
Aditya’s father, Manoj Kumar Sahu, works as a LIC agent, while his mother, Sumitra Sahu, is employed in a bank. Aditya credited the disciplined atmosphere at home for shaping his work ethic. He acknowledged his parents’ support, highlighting their emphasis on regular studies rather than pressure. Additionally, Aditya expressed gratitude to his teachers and school principal for their guidance and support, enabling him to overcome challenges and achieve outstanding results in the CBSE 12th board exams.
