Jamshedpur: The second season of Dell Champs witnessed an overwhelming participation from DAV Public School, Bistupur. �Dell Champs � 2014�, a 20 city student-outreach programme woven around the theme, �Education, Empowerment & Entertainment�.
Dell Champs, an interactive quiz competition which aims to unleash the genius inside the students, while giving their parents knowledge about modern day computing and the risks involved.
Dell Champs are conducted in 20 cities and 400 schools gets a chance to showcase their knowledge, to test it and become National Stars. A total of 67 teams comprising of a student and his partner (an adult relative) particpated in the prelims. Thereafter 6 teams were selected for the finals.
The final round ended with Arya Aman and Uday Arnav, as winners who rose to the ocassion. Both their teams have qualified for city level quiz to be held on Septemeber 11.
The school level contest will be followed by an Interactive Internet Safety workshop as part of Dell�s School Contact Program, to educate children and parents on how to use the web safely and tips on implementing and exercising online safety norms.
The second round will involve the top 2 school teams to compete at city level contest and the 20 city level finalists will complete in an online quiz at national level.
The top four teams will receive All-in-One from Dell while the rest of the sixteen finalists receive trophies from Dell and each of the schools they represent will receive gifts from Dell.
