DAV Bistupur students felicitated for academic excellence

Jamshedpur, Jan 24: DAV Public School in Bistupur held its Annual Day Celebration at XLRI Auditorium on January 24, marking the culmination of the 2022-23 academic session. The event was a grand affair, highlighting the achievements and efforts of individuals across various fields.

The festivities began with a captivating Santhali dance, representing the cultural richness of Jharkhand. Students warmly welcomed guests, and the program kicked off with the melodious DAV Gaan, followed by a customary floral felicitation of the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, accompanied by the Lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp.

Dedicated to recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements, the day saw the presentation of awards and certificates to individuals excelling in academics and DAV National Sports for the current year. These accolades served as motivation and underscored the significance of both scholarly and athletic pursuits.

Pragya Singh, Principal, ARO, Jharkhand Zone-E, delivered the annual report for the session and imparted valuable advice to students, encouraging them to “Run your own Race” and seek progress within themselves. She also lauded the efforts of teachers in shaping the school’s image.

Guest P. Sofat, Treasurer DAVCMC, Chairperson of DAV Public School, Bistupur, Jamshedpur, graced the occasion with an inspiring speech, motivating students, teachers, and parents. Sofat emphasized the pivotal role of education and community engagement, highlighting the responsibility of teachers in building society.

The celebration featured a remarkable dance drama exhibition themed “Panchtatva,” promoting environmental conservation. Students presented a skit on the life of Swami Dayanand Saraswati and delivered a poignant performance inspired by the theme “Heal the World,” conveying a heartfelt message and showcasing the Seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a future inclusion in value education.
