DAV Bistupur honors students for academic performance

Jamshedpur, Dec 27: DAV Public School, Bistupur, hosted Super Achievers’ Award Ceremony and Annual Day Function on December 27, 2024, celebrating student excellence and talent. The event, attended by students, parents, staff, and distinguished guests, highlighted the achievements of the school community.

The ceremony began with the traditional DAV Gaan and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The day’s highlight was the Annual Report presented by Pragya Singh, ARO cum Principal. She shared the school’s accomplishments in academics, sports, and community initiatives over the past year, while also outlining future goals to foster well-rounded growth among students.

In her welcome address, Pragya Singh emphasized the importance of events like these in nurturing holistic development. She encouraged parents to focus not only on academic success but also on emotional well-being, which is essential for raising capable individuals. She also congratulated the awardees and expressed gratitude to the staff, parents, and students for their hard work.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Jaya Moitra, Counsellor at the Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur, delivered an inspiring keynote, urging students to aim high and continue pursuing excellence while managing their emotions effectively.

The program also featured a series of cultural performances, including dances, music, and theater, all centered around the theme of Climatic Change and its Consequences.

The award ceremony recognized 189 students for their outstanding performance in AISSE and AISSCE exams, 295 class toppers, and 37 students for their achievements in IIT JEE Mains, 17 in IIT JEE Advanced, 13 in NEET, and 2 in CLAT. Over 50 students were awarded for excellence in DAV National Sports, and 45 students received special recognition for 100% attendance.
