Jamshedpur, Jan 10: DAV Public School, Bistupur organized manual lottery for the admission of candidates in Nursery for the academic session 2023- 2024, in the presence of dignitaries and guests from the field of education.
The total seats for Nursery are 200. The lottery for 150 seats for general category was conducted and 50 seats were reserved for the BPL category.
A total of 781 applications were received for 150 general category seats.
Pragya Singh, Principal, DAV Public School, Bistupur while addressing the gathering appreciated the tiny tots and urged the parents to explore their hidden talents, skills and potentialities. She also praised the teachers for their patience, dedication and empathy.
“A fair and transparent draw was conducted successfully and smoothly. It was a draw of equal opportunities and everyone welcomed and appreciated the fair process followed for the selection of the new bunch of students who will take their first step towards fun filled and activity filled learning, donning the school uniform soon,” she added.
Present on the occasion were QP Mishra, ARO DAV Public Schools, Jharkhand, Zone-A and Principal, DAVPS, NIT Campus, Adityapur, Member, LMC, DAVPS, Bistupur; Sujay Kumar and Devashish as DSE representative, Satish Kumar Singh, General Secretary, Tata Workers Union, LMC, DAVPS, Bistupur, Parents representatives and others.
The result of lottery for admission would be issued on 21st January. The admission results will be published both online and offline.
