Jamshedpur: Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the keeper of traditions. To honour them, the students of class L.K.G to class 3 of Rajendra Vidyalaya celebrated Grandparents Day on November 24 in the school auditorium.
The energetic learners took the opportunity to show their love and gratitude towards the grandparents through their colorful dance performances, Hindi skit, yoga asana, song and wonderful ramp walk.
The enthralling performance of the students left everybody spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. Dr S.C Mishra, member of the school management committee also conducted a questionnaire session for the grandparents.
It was a memorable moment for the grandparents who left with pleasant memories, lots of appreciation and heaps of blessings to the school and management. The Principal congratulated the students for their efforts and also spoke about the importance of the day.
The grand success of the celebration was possible only under the sincere and undeterred guidance of D. Vani, Junior Incharge. All the teachers involved directly or indirectly in the smooth conduct of the program were also present to encourage the students.
Earlier the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by members of the Bihar Association BN Choudhary , President – Bihar Association, Dr. S.K. Singh ,Vice President- Bihar Association ,C.P.N Singh, General Secretary – Bihar Association, Amresh Sinha, Joint Secretary – Bihar Association.
Also present were Jayanti Singh, Principal- Rajendra Vidyalaya, Sakchi, Piyali Mukherjee, Vice Principal and Kiran Sinha, Senior Incharge.
