D.P.Bodhanwala blood drive collects 236 units

Jamshedpur, August 12: Under the banner of D.P.Bodhanwala memorial trust a blood donation camp was organized on Wednesday.

Total of 236 members donated their blood at an event organized at the Red Cross Bhawan in Bistupur.

The event was inaugurated by chairman of the trust Bailey Bodhanwala by paying floral tribute to his father’s potrait.

It was followed by a lamp lighting ceremony attended by Rubina Bodhanwala, Tina Bodhanwala and advocate Tapas Mitra.

Bodhawala addressed the members & thanked them for their ultimate contribution. He said,”Blood donation is the greatest endowment one can ever give.

It saves many lives.” The trust has till date collected & donated 13500 units of blood since its inception in 1984. The camp also saw the presence of Arun Karn, Aman Verma, Awdhesh Pathak, Balaji Rao, Ujjwal, Pankaj and others.
