Cultural, sporting events mark Karim City’s special camp

Jamshedpur, Dec. 31: NSS wing of Karim City College is organized a week long special camp at Kapali Village situated on Old Purulia Road in Mango.

On the last day of the camp on Saturday, cultural programmes were organised. NSS volunteers organised sporting events. Naved presented a song based on social interest where NSS volunteers staged nukkad natak where chief guest was Arvind Pandit, coordinator of Kolhan University.

He awarded the participants of various events. Later, he distributed study materials, clothes and piggy bank among the village children while blankets were distributed among the elderly. Vice-Principal of Karim City College, Dr. Md. Reyaz appreciated the work of the NSS unit.

He said that these events help develop a sense of social service among the students and make them a responsible citizen. The programme was headed by NSS officer SK Anwar Ali and Syed Sajid Parvez.

The event was hosted by senior NSS volunteer Anmol, Amit Kumar and Vishakha. Present on the occasion were College professor Dr. Indrasen Singh, Safi Allah Ansari, Firoz Ibrahim, Aftab Alam, Nida Zakaria and Syed Sajid Parvez.
