Jamshedpur: A host of cultural events have been planned this Durga Puja by the members of The Milanee Sarbajanik Durga Puja Club. The events will be held from Panchami till Navami. This was decided on Sunday. The Durga Puja committee for 2018 was formed today. The meeting was presided over by Bhaskar Mitra.
Artists of Sur Sangam will perform on the occasion. Folk artists will perform on Shasthi while a team from Kolkata will perform on Ashtami. A team from Ranchi will perform on Ashtami. On Navami, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2011 winner Sourabh Das will entertain the visitors.
The general secretary of The Milanee Raju Dutta said 15 new members have been inducted in the committee. All members have been asked to contribute Rs 1500 for this year�s puja.
