Cultural bonanza marks Srinath University Annual Day celebrations

Jamshedpur, Nov 30: The Annual Day – ’22 celebration at Srinath University was marked by a cultural bonanza at the auditorium on Tuesday, November 29. Chancellor of Srinath University, Sukhdev Mahato, Vice Chancellor Dr Govinda Mahato, Academic Head of Seinath Public School, Dilip Mahato and Principal of the school, Sanjay Kumar Singh were the guests of honour at the glittering programme. The programme was jointly hosted by Assistant Professor from the School of Engineering, Laxmi Mahto and Assistant Professor from the School of Commerce and Management, Jaya Rani Mahto.

“The Annual Day was celebrated to acknowledge the achievements of the students who excelled not only in Academics but also in extracurricular activities,” stated the University’s Media In-charge, Rachna Rashmi.

With the lighting of the traditional lamp by all the guests and faculty members of the university, the gala events commenced to make the Annual Day celebrations memorable.

The loaded bag of excitement opened with magnetic dance performance by Yogita and Shibani of the Department of Education. To join the fray were other University girls with their dancing steps paving the way for other exciting events including foot tapping numbers by the orchestra group and group dances by the students. The melodious renditions by Vivek Kapoor and Purnendu Pushkar added to the delight of the celebratory offerings.

The Faculties of Different Departments presented certificates to the achievers of various competitions held during the academic year. Titles in various categories were awarded to students of the Passing Batch of School of Education and School of Commerce and Management. The vote of thanks was offered by Dr Debopriya Sarkar Assistant Professor of the School of Education, Dr Debopriya Sarkar.
