CSIR-NML Jamshedpur blood donation drive collects 95 units

Jamshedpur, June 17: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), where scientists, technical researchers, administrative staff, students, temporary personnel, and their family members came together in a show of social responsibility. Recognizing the importance of blood donation, participants collectively donated 95 units of blood.

The camp was inaugurated by CSIR-NML Director Dr. Sandeep Ghosh Chaudhary. Present on the occasion were Administrative Controller Jai Shankar Sharan, Administrative Officer Viplav Vishal, Chief Scientist Dr. Manish Kumar Jha, Technical Officer Uma Chandra Oraon, Medical Officer Dr. Arvind Upadhyay, Dr. Priyanka Singh, Finance and Accounts Officer Dayakant Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Stores and Purchase Officer Naveen Sharma, Bhola Azad, and Security Officer Santosh Kumar Modi.

The event was organized with the support of Jamshedpur Blood Bank and the Voluntary Blood Donors Association (VBDA), who played a key role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp.
