Ranchi, April 12: Chief secretary Rajbala Verma presided a review meeting of Women, Child Development & Social Security Department on Tuesday.
During review she directed to identify youths from primitive tribal hamlets and involve them actively in implementation of PTG�s pension scheme.
This will help in implementation of scheme on ground level, the CS further added. Verma directed district wise identification of National Social Security Scheme beneficiaries and asked the officials to serve clarification notice to the officers who failed to facilitate the National Social Security Scheme beneficiaries.
The CS further directed the officials to issue an order and guideline at different levels for sevika/ sahia to co-operate each other and promote institutional deliveries.
She asked to earmark districts according to population to achieve target of Laxmi Ladli Yojna. Verma stressed on further action for inauguration of Vidhwa Samman Yojana. The CS asked for account verification of cash transfer and withdrawals.
She directed the department secretary to complete the appointment process of poshan sakhi latest by June 30. Recruitment of 5526 poshan sakhi is due and 4800 have been already appointed in the first phase.
Verma asked the officials to organize workshop for training of poshan sakhis. CS directed the department officials to fix target for anganwadi supervisors. She focused on quality improvement of anganwadi centers.
Verma directed to constitute village-level committee to control human trafficking and ensure identification of traffickers. The CS was keen on third party evaluation of ready to eat food factories and inspection by department secretary.
Vinay Kumar Choubey, secretary, Women, Child Development & Social Security Department, along with joint secretary, director and UNICEF officials participated in meeting.
