Seraikela: Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma and DGP DK Pandey held a review meeting on Focus Area Development Scheme.
After the address of the Chief Secretary, loans were distributed among the beneficiaries. Appointment letters were also given to unemployed youths of the district.
As many as 16 youths were given pump sets and HDPE pipes. Appointment letters were given to 54 youths. Sewing machines were distributed among seven beneficiaries while special devices were given to four differently-abled persons.
Under the CM�s ST Village Development Scheme, five beneficiaries were given Rs 2 lakh each while a Mahila Samiti was given a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.
At the review meeting, it was found that 13 Focus Area Development plans were being implemented in Seraikela-Kharsawan.
The CS reviewed the works of various departments including education, agriculture, supply, health, MGNREGS, social security and road construction.
