Ranchi, April 25: Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma on Tuesday directed all the additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries and secretaries of different departments to do random inspection of welfare schemes and randomly visit the regional offices at least twice a month and send the copy of the report to the Chief Minister�s office in order to implement the schemes properly.
In her letter, Mrs. Verma said that either the mentioned directive regarding random inspection is not followed or the CM�s office is not intimated about it except some exceptional cases.
She said that as per the reports, some officers visit divisional /district HQs which does not fulfill the imperatives of random inspection of areas.
Hence all departmental heads should visit their areas twice a month and send the report to CM secretariat.
