Chandil: People thronged in large numbers at Adivasi Lok Sanskritik Mela held at Gaurdih under Chandil Block.
On the occasion folk dance performer from West Bengal Shilabati Devi presented dance in front of the appreciating village audience.
The fair was organized on the occasion of Tusu Mela where the participants took part in various events like preparation of dishes (Peetha).
A cock-fight contest was also held. Cash awards were given away to winners carrying attractive Tusu idols.
