Criminals shoot gas agency proprietor at Dimna

Jamshedpur, Oct. 19: Unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants shot one Anand Prabhat, proprietor of HP gas agency at Dimna Road, near Dimna Chowk under MGM police station area on Wednesday.

The victim was taken to Tata Main Hospital where his condition was reportedly serious.

Police sources said the victim, a resident of Sunshine Enclave, was shot in his leg by the assailants in the evening. The shooters escaped after the victim fell down, bleeding profusely.

Police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons in this connection. They said a search was on for the shooters on the basis of information collected from the victim and other sources.
