Jamshedpur, Sept 26: In a swift response by law enforcement authorities, criminals involved in a recent robbery near Bhilai Pahari under the MGM police station area were arrested today.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Adil, a resident of Jugsalai, Raj Mandal from Jugsalai Surti Chowk, Dawood Khan, of Jugsalai Idgah Maidan and Mohammad Imran, a resident of Jugsalai Gauri Shankar Road.
The incident unfolded when the four criminals arrived on two scooters near the godown of Virk Cargo Movers. They forcibly confronted and assaulted the trailer driver, Shankar Singh, before looting a sum of ten thousand rupees along with valuable art and watch items. Subsequently, they fled the scene.
The police swiftly launched an investigation into the matter. Their relentless efforts bore fruit as all four culprits were successfully apprehended within 24 hours of the robbery. The police recovered Rs 2,705,as well as the art and watch items. Additionally, the two scooters used in the commission of the crime were also recovered.
