Criminals loot jewellery after taking woman hostage in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 16: Masked criminals entered the house of Ajit Sharma, a resident of Harharguttu Prem Kunj under Parsudih police station and carried out the robbery. The criminals tied the hands and legs of Ajit Sharma’s wife Priya Sharma and looted gold and silver ornaments and fled from the spot.

The incident took place at around one o’clock on Friday night. The criminals have also assaulted Priya for protesting. After getting the information, the police came to the spot on Saturday morning and started investigating the matter.

Regarding the incident, Priya Sharma told that her husband Ajit Sharma had left home on Friday itself to go to Nepal. His mother-in-law and a one-year-old child were at home. After having dinner, they went to sleep. At the same time, the three criminals entered their house through the roof. After that, first of all, after pressing her mouth, she was taken to another room.

The miscreants beat up the woman for making noise. After that first remove the jewelry from her body. After that, they also took away the jewelery of his mother-in-law kept in the house. The miscreants also had a mild fight with him. After the incident, the thieves again fled from the terrace. Priya told that one of the three criminals was speaking Hindi. The other two criminals were talking in some other language. Priya Sharma told that her husband Ajit works in Tata Steel under contract.

 Priya told that after the thieves left, she crawled to her mother-in-law. Mother-in-law woke up after hearing the faint sound of her crying. Then the mother-in-law quickly got up and opened her mouth and hands and feet. After which she gave complete information about the incident to her mother-in-law. After that the mother-in-law also informed about the incident to her relatives. After which all the people reached the spot and inquired about the matter. Ajit’s mother Sunaina Sharma told that the same thieves had come to the house a week ago to steal from the terrace. But on being attacked, all the thieves fled from the spot.
