Creativity shines at Dayanand Public School’s Kindergarten Exhibition

Jamshedpur: Dayanand Public School, Sakchi, turned into a vibrant hub of creativity during its Kindergarten Exhibition, which showcased the innovation and imagination of its youngest learners.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Gian Taneja, Chairman, Shiksha Samiti, alongside Vice Chairman Rajiv Talwar and other dignitaries. They praised the meaningful displays created by the children with their teachers’ guidance.

Covering diverse themes such as animals, road safety, transport, seasons, cleanliness and space, the exhibition captured the curiosity of the children while also offering parents a glimpse into innovative teaching practices. From colorful animal cutouts and seasonal displays to space rockets and transport models, every corner reflected the enthusiasm of the tiny learners.

A highlight was the play-and-activity zone, where children engaged in hands-on tasks that enhanced their fine motor skills, coordination and problem-solving abilities. These playful activities embodied the principle of ‘learning by doing,’ a cornerstone of experiential education encouraged by NEP 2020.

Principal of the school emphasized that such exhibitions helped develop 21st-century skills—critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication—from an early age. The event also carried social messages: children urged visitors to keep surroundings clean and stressed the importance of road safety rules.

Parents appreciated the effort, noting how the exhibition boosted children’s confidence and joy in learning.

The Kindergarten Exhibition was more than an event—it was a celebration of curiosity, creativity and experiential learning, setting a strong foundation for the young learners’ future.
