Covid patient runs away from Jamshedpur Hospital

Jamshedpur, April 5: As cases of Covid-19 continue to rise at the steel city very fast, one of the patients fled the MGM Medical College Hospital’s Covid ward on Sunday night.  After the hospital came to know about the Covid patient from the hospital, the medical college hospital authority have on Monday started tracing the patient so that the killer virus is not spread further.

The Covid patient who has fled the medical college hospital’s Covid ward is a 42-year-old man and resident of Daiguttu locality in Mango.

A district health officer confirmed the incident. “A 42-year-old male patient has fled the medical college hospital’s Covid ward on Sunday night. We along with the hospital authority are looking for the patient, ” he said.

Hospital superintendent, Sanjay Kumar, however, said that 90 Home-guard jawans who maintain the security system of the hospital are on strike since the past 10 day.
