Jamshedpur, May 9: State former chief minister and BJP national vice-president Raghubar Das has requested Jharkhand government to grant Rs 5 lakh on compassionate ground to family members of the deceased media personnel who have died of Covid 19.
The BJP leader expressed dismay over the death of nearly 18 media persons during Covid period this year and claimed that media persons are dying due to the insensitive and irresponsible state government and asked for starting of pension scheme for reporters and give of financial assistance to all media persons affected with Covid.
