COVID-19: No death, 22 infections, 28 recoveries in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec. 10: Coronavirus cases have started to decline in Jamshedpur owing to a greater number of recoveries than fresh cases.

22 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the East Singhbhum district, while no death was reported on Thursday, December 10.  The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17024.

28 people recovered of the virus on Thursday taking the total recovery to 16481 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 169.

Jamshedpur has seen a sharp decline in their total cases in the past four weeks. The death remained at 374.

As many as 28 people recovered from the virus on Wednesday taking the overall recoveries to 16481 which accounts for a recovery rate of 97%, which is the highest so far.

East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 152621 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.

So far in Jamshedpur 418706 samples have been collected out of which 406277 have been tested and 389253 have turned out to be negative.
