Jamshedpur, Dec. 10: Coronavirus cases have started to decline in Jamshedpur owing to a greater number of recoveries than fresh cases.
16 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the East Singhbhum district, while no death was reported on Friday, December 11. The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17040.
32 people recovered of the virus on Friday taking the total recovery to 16513 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are down to 153.
Jamshedpur has seen a sharp decline in their total cases in the past four weeks. The death remained at 374.
As many as 32 people recovered from the virus on Friday taking the overall recoveries to 16513 which accounts for a recovery rate of 97%, which is the highest so far.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 154210 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %. So far in Jamshedpur 420825 samples have been collected out of which 410508 have been tested and 393468 have turned out to be negative.
