Corona quote: 107 recoveries, 495 positives, 6 deaths in Jamshedpur

Seraikela reports 15 cases, West Singhbhum 57

Jamshedpur/Ranchi, Sept. 6: Jharkhand�s COVID-19 tally has crossed 52 thousand mark on Monday with the single-day spike of 1075 fresh cases, while the number of recoveries surged past 37 thousand, state health department bulletin showed.

Corona positive cases have climbed to 52142. Monday’s health bulletin also attributed 11deaths to the disease taking the state death toll beyond 481.

Six deaths have been reported from Jamshedpur, three succumbed to the virus in Ranchi while one person each died of the virus in Seraikela-Kharsawan and Deoghar.  Jamshedpur continues to top the casualty list with 6 patients losing their life on Monday, till the filing of this report on Monday night.

976 people have recovered and were discharged from various COVID hospital�s across the state on Monday. 37160 people have recovered in Jharkhand till date while around 14501 active cases are still present in the state.

In Jamshedpur the COVID-19 tally has crossed 8600 mark.
495 new cases were reported on Monday, September 7 taking the East Singhbhum tally to 8636. 107 people recovered of the virus on Monday, in Jamshedpur.

6028 people have recovered and have been discharged in Jamshedpur till date. 2371 active cases are still present in Jamshedpur.

The district administration spokesperson informed that 495 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Monday.

According to East Singhbhum administration report, 237 people have died of coronavirus in Jamshedpur till the filing of this report on late Monday night.

Seraikela reported 15 new cases on Monday while 57 positives have come up in West Singhbhum. 

The first case of the pandemic was reported from Hindpiri on March 31, when a 22-year-old Malaysian woman, who had been to Delhi�s Tablighi Jamaat congregation, tested positive. She has since been discharged after being recorded from the dreaded disease.

The Jharkhand government has extended the coronavirus pandemic-triggered lockdown in containment zone in the state till September 30. However, all the economic activities in the state are allowed outside containment zones.
The hotels, dharmshala, lodge and guest houses reopened after around 6 months following SOPs and guidelines of the government. Restaurants and shopping malls also resumed after a long time.
