41 new cases in Seraikela, 5 in West Singhbhum
Jamshedpur/Ranchi, Sept. 2: Jharkhand recorded 774 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases registered so far to 44352. Wednesday’s health bulletin also attributed 7 deaths to the disease taking the state death toll to 434.
All the seven deaths have been reported from Jamshedpur.

Positive cases have climbed to 44352 while 434 people have lost their life due to the virus in the state including 7 on Wednesday.

Jamshedpur continues to top the casualty list with 7 patients losing their life on Wednesday.
Seven people succumbed to coronavirus in Jamshedpur on Wednesday, September 2. 61-year-old Kadma resident who was admitted to TMH on September 1 with high fever and breathing problem died on September 2. He was suffering from various other ailments.

71-year-old man from Dukhu Tola near Karandih Railway Crossing was admitted to TMH on August 31 after heart attack. He died on September 2 and was also tested corona positive. Burmamines Ganesh Maidan resident 51-year-old was third COVID victim in city on Wednesday. Two people each from Gamharia and Adityapur in Seraikela-Kharsawan district also succumbed to the virus on Wednesday. ���275 people recovered of the virus on Wednesday in Jamshedpur. �

607 people have recovered and were discharged from various COVID hospital�s across the state on Wednesday. Around 28000 people have recovered in Jharkhand till date while over 15000 active cases are still present in the state.
In Jamshedpur the COVID-19 tally has crossed 7600 mark.
228 new cases were reported on Wednesday, September 2 taking the East Singhbhum tally to 7664. 275 people recovered of the virus on Wednesday, in Jamshedpur. 4863 people have recovered and have been discharged in Jamshedpur.
The district administration spokesperson informed that 228 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Wednesday.
According to East Singhbhum administration report, 213 people have died of coronavirus in Jamshedpur till the filing of this report on late Wednesday night including 7 deaths reported on September 2. Active cases in Jamshedpur stand at 2588.
41 new cases were reported in Seraikela and 5 in West Singhbhum on Wednesday.
The first case of the pandemic was reported from Hindpiri on March 31, when a 22-year-old Malaysian woman, who had been to Delhi�s Tablighi Jamaat congregation, tested positive. She has since been discharged after being recorded from the dreaded disease.
The Jharkhand government has extended the coronavirus pandemic-triggered lockdown in containment zone in the state till September 30. However, all the economic activities in the state are allowed outside containment zones.
The hotels, dharmshala, lodge and guest houses reopened after around 6 months following SOPs and guidelines of the government. Restaurants and shopping malls also resumed after a long time.
