Cops recover Maoist posters from Ichagarh

Chandil: Seraikela-Kharsawan police here recovered posters with slogans and anti-government messages from several places in Ichagarh on Wednesday. They suspect the posters were put up at these places by members of the Communist Party of India (Maoist).

Sources said the rebels pasted posters at Milan Chowk, Bistatand, Jhadua, Sitanala and Dalgram. A banner was also recovered from Situ Haat. Threatening messages warning government against making any changes in the CNT Act and the SPT Act are written on the posters, sources said.

Police said they were conducting patrolling in and around Ichagarh after the recovery of posters. They said so far no arresting was made in connection with the poster campaign started by the rebels.
