Cops crack Parsudih youth�s murder case within 24 hrs

Jamshedpur, May 19: Jamshedpur police cracked the murder case of Mahesh Leyangi alias Guddu who was found murdered at Lachhugora under Parsudih police station area on Sunday morning and arrested Sukra Samad son of Buddheshwar Samad resident of Dumkagora under Parsudih police station and is inquiring about the incident.

Sukra Samad during investigation admitted about doing the crime and on his admitting police recovered Hero Honda Hunk motorcycle with registration number JH05AK/8081, Micromax mobile and rope used for murdering, said City SP, Karthik S. talking to the scribes on Monday evening.

Karthik S. further informed Sukra admitted of doing the crime and also told name of his other friend involved in carrying out the crime. City SP said that Sukra along with his friend tried to burn up the body of Mahesh and a case was registered at Parsudih police station. Police has managed to crack the incident within 24 hours and the main reason behind the incident as told by city SP was the extra marital affair of Mahesh Leyangi with Sukra Samad�s girlfriend which led to murder of Mahesh.

It may be noted that the body of 20-year-old youth was found at Lachhugora under Parsudih police station area on Sunday morning. The body was identified as that of Mahesh Leyangi alias Guddu Ho, a resident of Nildungri in suburban Sundernagar police station area.

Officer-in-charge Parsudih police station Dayanand Kumar said that the murder victim Guddu, had an extra-marital affair. Victim Guddu was married to a girl who is undergoing nursing training at Ranchi. Guddu used to stay separately ever since he married.
