Jamshedpur, July 18: Convoy drivers protested in front of Tata Motors Gate on Tuesday regarding their various demands. Along with this, a demand letter was handed over to the plant head under the leadership of Gyansagar Prasad.
In this regard, the leader of Convoy drivers, Gyan Sagar Prasad said that the orders of the Jharkhand government and the district administration are being continuously disobeyed by the Tata Motors management.
They alleged that chassis booking and replacement of drivers were being done arbitrarily by BN Singh and JP Singh, who are looking after the chassis dispatch department of Tata Motors.
He said that through a demand letter, they have demanded the ad-hoc committee to ban the illegal conveyance union being run in the name of drivers from the plant head, to ban illegal booking in the name of absent drivers and to establish dialogue between the drivers and the management.
