Chandil: The controversy over the date of Sendra Parv, the ritual hunting festival of tribal people, came to an end with the various factions unanimously deciding to celebrate the festival on 19th May.
The secretary of Dalma Shikar Samiti said the common date was taken after discussions among the various factions of the tribal community.
Last year round, a similar situation was faced by the Sendra organizers. Forest officials have appealed to tribal people to celebrate the festival peacefully without killing any anima. He said the festival should be celebrated in such a way so as to keep the environment intact.
