Campaign against blindness starts today

Gamharia: Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum chapter, is going to launch a blindness eradication campaign in the city from 3rd May onwards.

The campaign will be inaugurated at Red Cross Building, Sakchi. Eye patients will be examined from 2 pm onwards and cataract patients will be shortlisted for surgery.

It is going to be a free eye camp going to be organized on �no loss, no profit� basis. Any organization or agency can sponsor such camps which will provide free services to cataract patients.
