Jamshedpur: With the by-election for the 45-Ghatshila (ST) Assembly Constituency scheduled for November 11, 2025, the district administration has intensified preparations to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful voting process. To strengthen monitoring, a District Control Room has been established at the Sakchi Police Station premises, which will function round the clock to receive complaints and provide quick responses.

Citizens and voters have been urged to report any violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) through multiple platforms made available by the Election Commission of India. Complaints can be registered on the cVIGIL app, the Voter Helpline app, or the official website https://voters.eci.gov.in. Additionally, a toll-free helpline (1950) is operational for voter assistance.

For direct communication, voters can contact the District Control Room at 0657-2440111, 0657-2221717, and 0657-2221718, which will remain active 24×7. Officials have assured that immediate action will be taken on every verified complaint or report of violation.

He emphasized that public vigilance and timely reporting of irregularities play a crucial role in ensuring that the by-election is conducted in a transparent, impartial, and peaceful manner.
