Construction of Tatanagar Foot overbridge on war footing

Jamshedpur, April 19: Construction of a foot overbridge at Tatanagar station is underway at an accelerated pace, aiming to provide passengers with the facility of a new foot overbridge by July. As part of this effort, the reservation center is gearing up to cast the stairs within the next few days. Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager Arun J Rathore initiated a campaign to assess passenger amenities at Tatanagar station on March 24, during which directives were issued to expedite the construction of the foot overbridge to facilitate the installation of lifts and escalators. While stairs for the foot overbridge have already been constructed on other platforms, the construction of sheds is scheduled to commence shortly.
