‘Conspiracy to divide society in the name of caste and religion’

Jamshedpur: Noted advocate and social thinker Sudhir Kumar Pappu, has accused the Central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of orchestrating a calculated conspiracy to divide Indian society along religious and caste lines. In a strongly worded statement, Pappu alleged that since the formation of the Modi government, the country has witnessed a dangerous surge in hate-driven narratives that threaten its unity and integrity.

Pappu remarked that a nation once hailed as the “golden bird” is now being tragically referred to as a “bird of hatred,” owing to the divisive politics allegedly promoted by the current regime. He expressed grave concern over the collapse of essential sectors such as education, healthcare, employment, and the rising inflation, which he believes are being deliberately ignored while the youth are being misled and distracted by religious polarisation and historical revisionism.

“The government has kept the youth occupied with debates over Hindu-Muslim, forward-backward, and historic figures like Aurangzeb, Rana Sanga, and Babar, while real developmental issues are being sidelined,” said Pappu. He further alleged that this political agenda is being influenced by foreign powers, particularly America and Israel, who, according to him, do not want to see India prosper. He accused sections of the Indian media of acting like “lap dogs,” blindly praising Israel and ignoring critical issues plaguing the country.

Pappu claimed that the Modi government is primarily working to benefit a handful of capitalists while undermining the democratic fabric of the nation. He warned that India’s Constitution is under threat, and alleged that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, by ridiculing Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the Parliament, has revealed the government’s intentions to slowly replace the Constitution with Manusmriti, under the guise of celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti.

“The situation is extremely serious. The society must wake up to the threat before it’s too late,” said Pappu. He accused the government of launching a broader campaign to eliminate the opposition and control every democratic institution.
