Jamshedpur, Sept. 8: District Congress OBC Cell on Saturday staged protest against the continues hike in petrol and diesel prices, at Sakchi roundabout. Led by Surendra Sharma, district president of Congress OBC Cell shouted slogans against the Narendra Modi government and demanded to control inflation. Sharma said that sky rocketing prices of diesel, petrol and gas has led to inflation in every area and common man is suffering.
Youth Congress state secretary Rakesh Sahu said, the central government is working just to benefit the selected industrialist and is least worried about the common man. Congress will continue to protest till the government takes notice. Rakesh Sahu and Surendra Sharma said that Bharat Bandh called by Congress and other opposition parties will be made successful on September 10. Present on the occasion were Abdul Wahid Ansari, Munnu Mandal, Jawahar Lal, Sonu Kumar Sharma, Abhinash Kumar Singh, Tavir Dheeraj, Ravi Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Suraj Kumar Yadav, Sushil Kumar, Raj Kishore Prasad, Deepak Gupta, Kiran Devi and others.
