Congress sit-in protest against Modi govt.’s “failures”

Jamshedpur, May 25: East Singhbhum District Congress Committee headed by its president Bijay Khan held a sit-in protest before the deputy commissioner’s office against the “failed promises” of Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre during its two-year tenure.

A Congress delegation also submitted a memorandum to DC Dr. Amitabh Kaushal addressed to President of India highlighting the failures of the Modi government.

Speaking on the occasion, Bijay Khan said, “PM Modi had promised that black money will come within 100 days, but even after completion of 730 days the country is awaiting black money.

The central government also said it will make electricity available for 24 hours in every household, but Jharkhand along with several states of the country are reeling under severe power cuts,” added Khan.
