Jamshedpur: Following a decisive victory in the Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) elections, Pervinder Singh, President of the East Singhbhum District Congress Committee, has issued a formal statement of gratitude to the residents of Mango.
Singh described the mandate as an “overwhelming victory” and a major step forward for the region’s political and civic development.
Strengthening the “Third Tier” of Democracy
A key highlight of Singh’s statement was the significance of this particular election cycle. As the first-ever polls conducted under the newly formed Mango Municipal Corporation, Singh noted that this marks the true beginning of localized governance in the area.
- Grassroots Empowerment: Singh congratulated the residents for exercising their “third tier” of democratic rights, which allows for more direct control over local issues.
- Support for Leadership: He called on citizens to provide ideological support to the newly elected Mayor and Ward Councillors to ensure a smooth transition into governance.
A Vision for a “Clean and Strong” Mango
Beyond the celebration, the District Congress President issued a call to action for the public. He urged active residents to remain vigilant and continue raising their voices on public issues.
“Balanced development is only possible when the citizens stay engaged. We must work together to build a clean, strong, and transparent Mango,” Singh stated.
Administrative Excellence
The Congress leader also extended his appreciation to the East Singhbhum District Administration. He lauded the officials for conducting the elections in a peaceful and orderly manner, ensuring that every voter could participate without fear or hindrance.
