Jamshedpur, October 27: Independent candidate Saurav Vishnu accused Congress candidates of spreading false information regarding the 86 Basti lease issue. Vishnu clarified that he filed a PIL in the High Court in January for ownership rights, which is now pending in the Supreme Court. He emphasized that only the court could grant ownership rights, not any political leader.
“If elected, I will make all Basti residents a party in the lease case and pursue a resolution through the court,” Vishnu stated, affirming his commitment to work for the education, employment, and welfare of the slum residents, whom he pledged to support like family.
