Congress leader gets 2 months jail in cheque bounce case

Jamshedpur: The court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Darshana Kumari sentenced Congress leader Laddu Pandey to two months imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 2 lakh in a cheque bounce case on Monday.

The case was lodged by Shashi Gupta alias Kunal Gupta, a resident of Awadh Tower, Sidhgora, in the year 2015 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The said cheque carried an amount of Rs 1,68,300.
