Delhi: In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024, the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) are set to engage in discussions on seat sharing. A crucial meeting has been scheduled between the two parties on January 13 in Delhi to finalize the allocation of seats in Jharkhand. A four-member delegation from JMM has already departed for Delhi to participate in these crucial discussions.
The JMM delegation comprises Minister Champai Soren, MLA Sudivya Kumar, Party General Secretary cum State Coordination Committee Member Vinod Pandey, and General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya. The meeting is expected to involve deliberations on the distribution of constituencies and other strategic considerations.
On January 13, JMM leaders will engage with the high-level committee formed for the purpose of seat-sharing discussions. The committee includes prominent leaders such as Mukul Wasnik, Salman Khurshid, Ashok Gehlot, and Mohan Prakash. Congress State In-Charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and State President will also be in attendance during this pivotal meeting.
