Cong OBC Cell expresses solidarity with farmers, demonstrates at Sakchi

Jamshedpur, Dec 7: The Jamshedpur Nagar Congress OBC Cell held a demonstration at Sakchi Shahid Chowk in support of the nationwide bandh call given by farmers in protest against the new Farm Bills enacted by the central government. all major opposition parties have assured their support to the farmers’ bandh call.

 The Congress OBC Cell demonstrators burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and shouted slogans against the central government demanding withdrawal of the new FDarm Bills which they dubbed black bills. However essential services have been kept out of the purview of the Bharat Bandh.

Speaking on the occasion district president of the Congress OBC Cell Surendra Sharma accused th central government of many a slip between the cup and the lip. Sharma sdaid, “The central government announces something and does something else. The government should listen to the voice of the farmers instead of attempting to choke it. The very motive of introducing the bills is questionable. The farm bills are anti farmers and pro capitalists. The party will always support the farmers’ agitation until the new Farm Bills are withdrawn.” The protesters included Ravi Kumar, Parvez Ansari, RS Kamlesh, Mukesh Kumar Yadav, Tanvir Ansari, Shilpi, Sushil Kumar, Munnu Mandal, Tinku Kumar and several others
