Ranchi, Aug. 9: Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das directed the DCs to conduct meeting of Tribal Development Council and take suggestions regarding development.
They should realize what is necessary and focus on welfare schemes. Roadmaps should be prepared and the schemes implemented.
They should be informed and made aware since Council has been made with this point of view. DCs should coordinate with people and hold meeting with workers of unorganized sectors form time to time.
The CM said this while addressing the review meeting of schemes for the funds received from District Mineral Foundation Trust.
Mr. Das said that the govt. priotises to provide good facilities for the people living in mining areas. The govt. wants to supply them drinking water through pipeline and control the diseases.
For making the remote and rural areas ODF, the schemes should be implemented in the areas where poor, tribal and schedule caste people live in big number.
He said that boundary should be made soon in those girls’ school without a boundary. The Gram Sabha meeting should be conducted by mukhiyas every month and those who fail to do so will face trial.
They will also be trained to expense funds for the schemes made unanimously with the people of their areas.
The CM directed the DCs to work phase-wise to supply water in mining areas. Even today, some people are doomed to drink contaminated water in mining areas.
He said to focus on health sector and develop health centers and sub-centers. The districts lacking fund will be provided the same through CSR. In the first phase, pregnant women will be provided nutritious food through vans in 12 districts.
DCs from different districts presented road map for development in their districts.Chief Secretary Mrs. Rajbala Verma, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. R.K Srivastav, Development Commissioner Mr. Amit Khare, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary to CM Mr. Sunil kumar Barnwal along with Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of different were present in the meeting.
