Chaibasa : West Singhbhum Congress party workers organised a condolence meeting for deceased congress minister Banwari Mahato in Chaibasa on Saturday.
Special prayer was held and a two-minute silence was also observed by the party workers.
Thereafter the party activists held a meeting and decided to canvass person to person campaign against the amendments in CNT and SPT Act and launched an awareness programme against the negative impact of demonetization in Jhinkpani Block.
The meeting was attended by Zila Parishad member Chandmuni Balmuchu, Congress district secretary Trishanu Roy, Mahabir, Harishbal and others.
