Jamshedpur, October 14: Anita Devi, a resident of Garabasa under Bagbera police station, is allegedly being threatened by her in-laws after the death of her husband.
Regarding this, Anita Devi reached the SSP office on Saturday and made a written complaint about the matter.
Anita Devi told that she was married to Bhim Singh, resident of Sonari Kumhar Pada in the year 2016.
After the marriage, it was learned that the in-laws had gone to jail several times in different cases.
After getting the information, she started living separately from her in-laws along with her husband. However, in the meantime, under the influence of her in-laws, her husband used to beat her, due to which she got fed up and started living in her parents’ house. On August 3, information was received that the husband had committed suicide by hanging himself.
When she ran to her in-laws’ house, she saw that there were injury marks on her husband’s body.
An FIR was lodged in Sonari police station against mother-in-law Lakshmi Devi, sister-in-law Bini Devi, Santosh Singh and Pawan Singh, accusing them of murder of her husband. Now the in-laws are threatening her to take back the case.
