Jamshedpur, October 14: Thieves broke into the house of Amit Kumar Jain, resident of Baradwari Amita Apartment under Sitaramdera police station.
The thieves broke the lock of Amit’s locked house and carried out the incident. The incident happened on Friday night. Amit came to know about the incident when he reached home at 10 pm.
He immediately informed the police. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation. During the investigation, the picture of the thief was captured in the CCTV installed nearby.
The thief also tried to steal from the other two flats but did not take anything from those flats. Amit told that he had gone to Sakchi market for work at 6.30 pm on Saturday evening. When he came home at 10 pm, he found that the lock was broken. The thief has stolen Rs 15,000 cash and jewelery worth Rs 19.25 lakh from the house.
The thief targeted three houses in the flat but bachelors live in the said flat, so they did not touch anything.
