Jamshedpur, July 14: Community High School, Baregora defeated Girish Chandra Jhuro Devi High School, Musabani to crown the winner of the Under-14 district level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament. In the divisional level the Under-17 team of the Community High School, Baregora bagged the runner-up position.
Both the teams were accorded warm welcome during their arrival in the school on Friday which was followed by a prize distribution function.
Principal of the school Vijay Pratap Yadav felicitated the incharge SK Singh, Harinandan Rai, teachers Kamla mahato, Rashmi Rekha, the winners team members and sports teacher SK Sharma. The principal also wished the team luck for the divisional level football tournament scheduled from 18 to 20 July at Chaibasa. The principal also announced special awards for the team captains and goal scorers.
