Jamshedpur, Nov 22: Another incident of firing astound Jamshedpur when Tata Steel employee Vipul Kumar was shot at by unidentified gunmen near United Club at around 8 pm in Bistupur on Saturday evening.
Kasidih Community Centre incharge Kumar was in his two-wheeler when two unidentified gunmen opened fire and shot one in his stomach while the other at his hand.
Resident of Baradwari Vipul after being hit by bullet called up his wife, informed her about the incident and then moved on to TMH. He is undergoing treatment at the ICU and his condition remained serious when the news reached the press.
Soon after the incident SSP Amol Homkar, City SP Karthik S. and Bistupur Police Station officer reached the spot and then went on to the hospital.
Talking to the injured SSP was informed by Vipul about the looks of the accused. SSP on the occasion said that the police will carry out the investigation and the accused will be caught as early as possible.
