Communal Harmony Week concludes with prize distribution

Jamshedpur, Dec. 21: The Communal Harmony Week (December 15-21) at the Karim City College concluded on Wednesday at the college campus.

Chief guest on the final day was Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Singh, pro vice chancellor of Kolhan University who awarded the prizes to the winner students of varied competitions. The final day began with a welcome song presented by the Spark music team.

NSS program officer Dr. Anwar Ali provided a brief on the seven-day events and activities of NSS. The chief guest gave away the awards and certificates to the students who stood first and second in various competition organised during the week.

A total of 1873 students partcipated in the week long celebration which has doubled from last year. Chief guest Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Singh appreciated the functioning of the college and seemed proud of being an Indian.

The chief guest also felicitated the students who will be a part of the Republic Day parade at Rajpath.

NSS program officer Dr. Anwar Ali presented patriotic song which brought curtains down on harmony week celebrations.
